Plans
For this shoot I plan to capture things that represent hope, Not necessarily in a model, but more objects. Things such as faith and things that we hope to help us. I would like to capture the in different ways, with no reoccurring theme of lighting or objects,
What I hope to achieve:
I hope to achieve a good variety of different representations of hope. I think i will most likely keep colour on my photographs to emphasise the prosperity of joy. I am aiming to use things that represent faith in most cases like a cross or buddha statue.
What I actually achieved
I achieved a range of different representations of hope with some faiths. I kept the photos with colour to emphasise the prosperity of hope. I liked the way this shoot turned out as I think it offers a unique individualism to every person, and the way people hope.

| This is an image of dream catcher. The myth behind them is that they catch the bad dreams, but allow the good ones through. I real liked the concept, as people put their faith in this dream catcher to help drive evil away. The way I edited it was to define the browns more, and put grain on the outside. The idea behind that was that all the little black specs are bad dreams, the catcher is dispersing ten away. Faith is working. |

| This photo was a birds eye view of a temple and a cactus. I liked the way the temple represents a place of worship, a place where people go to restore their hope, a place where they put their faith. as you can see there is shadows on the top of the temple, I liked this because its negative space; the negative space represents the parts in life that do not always go to plan. your faith will sometimes be lost into a void of nothing. Sometimes the downfall outflows the hope. |
What I will do next time/Progression
If I were to do this shoot again, I would really like to get photographs of actual temples and churches, places of holy worship. i would like t explore deeply into the religions. Photograph passages of their holy bible or Quran. Also religious uniforms, the way they dress. Furthermore, I would have liked to photograph a person looking at their idol. The person someone puts their faith into.
