This photo is a photo of a world view of all lights. To me, this is the kind of photo that represents Longing. I think this because this is something I would love to see. I long to see this, I want to see it. I also think that all these lights, they evoke a happy kind of feeling. People want to feel happy, people long to bathe in happiness. Furthermore, it is the world. People ant to travel the world, people long to move, they don't want too stay still.
This is the photo I took using the above as inspiration. Seeing as I couldn't go into space or fly up to take a picture, I used an alternative, more realistic in terms of how people look. I had a map of the world on the wall, I also had fairy lights decorating the map. I decided to use Bokeh to gain the circled lights. The reason I did this was because people like light, people long to be in the light, for the lime light. I also used the map because of how people like to move around, to travel the world.
Both photos represent Longing in different yet the same way. The first one is more in a fantasy of longing, whereas my photo is more realistic. Both have a blue tinge to them. I like the way they can also mean different things to different people too.
