Shoot 2 Isolation Work Record

For this shoot I plan to shoot under the theme of Isolation. In this shoot I hope to capture emotions of sadness and have plain faces.

What I hope to achieve: 

I hope to achieve a variety of creative ideas. i would like to edit the photos in mostly black and white with some selective colour. I think that black ad white makes the atmosphere of the photo a little more dismal. I will try to create different scenes e.g. everyone laughing an done person off to the side on their own. Another could be someone standing in a complete empty place.

What I actually achieved:

For this shoot i managed to take a good election of photographs. I have photos of three girls laughing whilst the other is stuck inside looking at them through a glade door/window.
After a while it became receptive because elf the limited people ad the limited location choices, but here are some of my final and edited photographs:

To do this effect, I turner the photo black and white using a filter in photoshop. i then coped the layer and clicked on a icon that gives me options to manipulate the image. Clicking on filter gallery, I used a sketching effect which made the whole photo sketched out. However, that is not what I wanted, so to the copied layer I added a mask, used a brush tool and rubbed put all the sketching i didn't want. Which left me with the girl in the inside looking at out three friends laughing. The reason I sketched her out is because i felt like it makes her noticeable, but shows that she isn't cared for. Crossing/sketching out is a form of correcting a mistake. It shows that she feels like a mistake. 

In order to gain this effect, I selected around the girl who is silted (in colour) and inverses the election. I then turned the selected area black and white. The reason I did this was because sometimes it isn't the person who has been isolated that there is something wrong with, sometimes its society. In-fact most of the time it is. The black and white represents society and how its hard, cold and rejects anyone who doesn't conform to standards. The coloured girl, is someone who is happy in themselves, but is seen as abnormal because they do not follow social influences.

What I am going to do next/progression

If I were to do this shoot again, I would like to get a picture of one of the girls standing in a field completely alone. I didn't get the opportunity to do this and i think that would make a good idea. I also saw a photo online of a teddy bear in selective colour, sitting on a long raining muddy road in black and white, I think to recreate that with my own style would be a fun task.

For my next shoot, I would like to experiment with the liquify tool and be able to highlight certain parts of images in a illuminous manner. I would also like to keep to one person, and represent Chaos. I want to be able to show different examples of chaos that on person can go through.
