Sam Haskins;
Sam Haskins, born Samuel Joseph Haskins (born 11 November 1926, died 26 November 2009), was a British photographer, born and raised in South Africa. He started his photographic career in Johannesburg and moved to London in 1968. Haskins is best known for his contribution to nude photography, in-camera image montage, and his books.
| This photo represents Confidence and self love. It is visible that the woman knows she looks good, she is almost smirking in a way that sexualises herself. She looks comfortable in her own skin and comfortable to explore her sexuality. These are emotions I read, even though th denotations of this photograph is merely a woman smiling with sunglasses hanging half way down her nose. |
| Clearly, you can see a woman laying on a bed, nude, slightly covering herself, with photos all over her walls. I like this photo because it evokes a calmness over me. I feel like the woman looks relaxed and proud. She isn't concerned with ll the faces looking at her (photos). |
